Visit Our Bourbon St Art Gallery and View Local Area Artists

The Bourbon Street Gallery is located in the balcony area of Pheasant Run Resort's re-created New Orleans streetscape.  The new gallery concept will focus on works of local area artists and provide a unique venue for each artist to exhibit their work. The final concept for the gallery was developed after several meetings with a select group of local artists, art educators and art enthusiasts who contributed thoughts and ideas for the new gallery concept. The gallery’s mission is to create a venue for art patrons to access, appreciate and purchase work from local artists done in various art mediums, all located in a casual, easy-to-appreciate setting.

The Bourbon Street Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition of paintings by local artist Fran Stillwanger.
One might call Fran an expressive painter because her paintings result from her engagement with media,
the subject matter and her own intentions and responses. Currently Fran is working with oil stick and oil pastel.
These two type of media provide exceptionally rich color. She wants to create images that invite peaceful refuge.
She paints a variety of subjects but particularly landscapes, because they are unlimited, meaning that they
are always changing. Fran is an award winning artist who has had shows throught the Fox Valley area,
Woodstock, IL and Mineral Point, WI. She is a member of The Fine Line Creative Art Center, The Oil
Pastel Society, The Naperville Art League and Yellow House Artist. Fran's show will be here from
November 1, 2011 to January 25, 2012.
