With over 80,000 sq-ft. of event space, Pheasant Run Resort has hosted hundreds of thousands of guests for all kinds of functions throughout the years. We invite you to read a few of their experiences below. Our experience with Pheasant Run was beyond our expectations. From the planning process to the serving of food, we always felt like we were taken care of. It was almost too easy! The staff was so kind, both in the planning and during our time there. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel like we were at home. 
The rooms for our activities were perfect. During the planning process, they really took the time to listen to what we needed to make sure we were taken care of. Everything was set up exactly how it was requested. They were always one step ahead of us!Our team really enjoyed the fire pit, the game room and the swimming pools while we were there. The game room was actually closed, but they opened it for us! We made so many memories at Pheasant Run and look forward to making more memories in the future. 🙂

The 2018 African American Travel Conference (AATC) was hosted by the St. Charles, IL CVB and the Pheasant Run Resort April 30 through May 2.  Over 200 delegates from 25 states, Israel, and Canada attended this year's Conference in St. Charles, Illinois.  Our delegates experienced great Midwest hospitality, delicious food and wonderful accommodations at the Pheasant Run Resort.  The conference delegates were impressed with the attention to detail that the Pheasant Run staff provided our members and anticipated many of their needs throughout our three-day stay.  Special thanks to France Langan, General Manager, Hal Barth, Director of Sales, and Eric Yarolimek, Director of Group Sales for their vision of what hospitality is all about at the Pheasant Run Resort.  All of their efforts and direction to the rest of the Resort staff provided a five star experience for our AATC group travel leaders.  I am confidant from this experience that many of our members will be returning to the Resort with their groups in the near future.

"Just taking a moment to thank you for all of the great work done by your entire Pheasant Run staff during the NPL 2018 Kick-Off Event.  The client was very pleased by what you were able to accomplish.  The constant checking in, answering numerous requests and always being flexible to their needs did not go unnoticed.  I must say that your team really went above and beyond to exceed the clients expectations.
I would be remiss if I did not personally praise, in particular, Brittany Norris and Ting.  Brittany was very available during the final stages of the expo and certainly the last three days when our company was onsite.  She was only a phone call away, allowed us to use her office for last minute computer requests and did all of this accompanied with a warm smile.  Ting was a workhorse and you are very lucky to have such a great, hardworking person in your employ.  He was always willing to do whatever asked and never once did we need to look much farther than across the Mega Center to find him busy working on tables, chairs, linens or pipe and drape.  He was fantastic!
Please note that I did also want to mention the great work of Al Moore, John, Hammer and Nik.  They were professional and extremely easy to work with.  I am grateful for the experience of working with Pheasant Run."

"Thank you to all of the Pheasant Run staff who helped to make our conference a success.  Once again, the Mega Center looked great.  The audio visual quality was excellent.  The booths looked wonderful!  And we love the extra touch of the poinsettias on the tables. 
A special thanks to Lori in the Mega Center!  When I needed something quickly I knew right where to go.  She was happy to help us with any requests and always with a smile.  She was in the Mega Center all day every day to answer and questions, to help us with any issues from food to temperature control to set up.  She is  a wonderful asset for Pheasant Run!  
The food was wonderful…compliments to your chef and to Steve!  
Breakouts rooms were set up and ready for us.  Thank you Ting…great job with set up!

"I wanted to send a huge and sincere "THANK YOU" for your incredible service and support last week during the ICE Conference. From before Day 1, the support offered was nothing short of incredible. Debra and Margy were there to answer questions and offer advice at every turn and at the drop of a hat could answer questions and meet with us when needed. Upon arrival on Sunday, the Expo Hall looked amazing. Bruce truly stepped up and took every opportunity to support our team in the Exhibit Hall. There was not a time that I was not in the area that I did not see Bruce. France and Hal, it meant so much to see you in the hallways, greeting people as they came into the resort and being in and out of sessions throughout the week. Debra taking on and planning the celebration for Andy was appreciated as well. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate his years of service and it was done with excitement and respect. "The staff is very friendly and accommodating." I heard this type of comment concerning the staff on more than one occasion in different areas of the resort; the café, Jambalaya, and of the staff who catered our breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Pheasant Run Resort has character." The participants love Bourbon Street, the Atrium, the New Orleans ballroom and the resort in general. It was not the Westin and that was good.

As I shared with you prior to the conference I had concerns about the resort being dated and in need of some investment. Despite my concerns I chose to hold the conference at Pheasant Run because of the people who worked there. I was impressed during my initial visit with Karen Horn that everyone and I mean everyone who worked there took the initiative to say HI to you or you greeted them. I visited the resort unannounced twice before signing the contract to see if that day was a dog and pony show and to my pleasant surprise your staff never once failed to make my visit pleasant and satisfying. Kudos to your staff.

I would recommend Pheasant Run to anyone at McDonald's who is looking for a place to hold a conference, a meeting or simply a place to get away."

"Wow…what an impressive display of hospitality you and your team orchestrated for our IHLA Board of Directors Outing at Pheasant Run earlier this week!
I cannot tell you how much I appreciated your professionalism and attention to detail from conversation to BEO to execution-the transition was flawless with an impeccable outcome!  From the moment we walked in your main entrance to the closing of the car door, your hospitality was of the highest caliber.
Chef Tiffany and her team outdid themselves on a menu that was creatively displayed and savory to the last bite!  The dinner was one of the BEST our GM's have experienced in a setting like none before…and the filets were cooked to perfection despite a winded reception by our attendees.  You truly exceeded all expectations as the genuine smiles of our attendees showed true.  I think it helps when everyone at the resort was empowered and seemed like they loved their role--it was contagious.  You have an exceptional team!

Steve and Janis were stand-out all stars ensuring everyone was taken care of as well as your service team.  Your executive team was also on-point, there for any question or direction needed.  Forgive me if I did not mention each one here…You all made IHLA look good too and we greatly appreciate that!!
