Traditional Thanksgiving Day Brunch for the Whole Family

Traditional Thanksgiving Day Brunch for the Whole Family

St. Charles, IL - November 5, 2019 -The holiday season begins at Pheasant Run Resort with a bountiful Thanksgiving Day Brunch created by Executive Chef Tiffany Tooker and her culinary team. This year Chef Tooker presents a multi-course feast filled with made-from-scratch breakfast and brunch favorites including made-to-order omelets, Cinnamon Raisin French Toast with Guava Cream Cheese Filling, and freshly-baked pastries, plus fresh salads, peel-and-eat shrimp, artisan cheese and breads, and entrees including hand-carved Vermont turkey with corn bread stuffing, bone-in Virginia Ham with Apricot Mustard Glaze, and mouthwatering desserts.

"There is plenty of room around our Thanksgiving table to count your blessings while enjoying a wonderful feast thoughtfully prepared and served by our artists [employees] who help create spectacular holiday memories," says Tonya Scott, general manager of the iconic resort.

The grand buffet menu includes seasonal salads and seafood such as a poached salmon salad display, an antipasto display, Chef's chopped salad, peel-and-eat shrimp, Caprese salad, and artisan cheeses and breads for starters.  An impressive carving station features succulent, Vermont Turkey alongside corn bread stuffing topped with traditional sage gravy or fresh cranberry chutney, bone-in Virginia ham with apricot mustard glaze, and Peppercorn Crusted Sirloin.

Selections from the pasta station offer penne or tortellini pasta with classic tomato basil vodka sauce or traditional Carbonara sauce and tempting side dishes include sweet potato gratin, green bean casserole, and home-style garlic whipped potatoes. No Thanksgiving is complete without sweets, so the pastry kitchen will offer traditional pumpkin pie, pecan pie, sweet potato pie, and the popular Pheasant Run cherry cobbler skillet station.

Served Thursday, November 28th from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., the bountiful brunch costs $42.95 for adults; $16.95 for children ages 5-12; children under 5 eat free. Guests who would like to make a staycation out of their holiday experience can also book a special Bed and Breakfast package. Starting at $168, the package includes overnight accommodations and access to Thanksgiving Brunch. Additional incentives for Thanksgiving stays can be found here.
